The Senior Manager, Integrations is accountable for managing the enterprise integrations function across Shake Shack’s digital, data, and enterprise platforms. This role provides hands-on technical leadership in designing, developing, and delivering scalable, secure, and reliable integration solutions that connect the systems powering Shake Shack’s guest experience and restaurant operations.

The integration landscape spans POS, digital ordering, Loyalty, Payments, content, customer data, and the emerging AI platforms. The Senior Manager will own integrations delivery across these domains, establish and govern integrations standards, patterns, and best practices, and ensure consistency, reliability, and long-term sustainability of the integrations ecosystem.

This role manages a team of internal integrations developers and global vendor delivery resources. The Senior Manager is a strong communicator at all levels from executives to delivery teams and is comfortable leading cross-functional, distributed teams with a builder mindset and high accountability for outcomes.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Drive end-to-end delivery of integration solutions across concurrent programs, ensuring alignment with business priorities. Accountable for delivery quality, timeline predictability, and production readiness — with zero ambiguity on ownership. Manage vendor delivery resources with clear accountability for quality, velocity, and outcomes.

• Develop and maintain a forward-looking integration roadmap aligned with enterprise priorities. Present roadmap strategy, progress, and trade-offs to VP-level stakeholders with executive-ready clarity — connecting technical decisions to business outcomes.

• Provide hands-on technical leadership and mentorship to the integrations team — elevating engineering quality across design, development, testing, and deployment while ensuring adherence to enterprise architecture standards and best practices.

• Architect scalable, secure, and resilient integration solutions across the global team — establishing and enforcing patterns for event-driven architecture, loose coupling, and operational simplicity. Enable data and AI pipeline connectivity as the AI platform scales.

• Act as the integration subject matter expert — driving operational excellence through proactive issue resolution, adoption of emerging capabilities, and robust observability across all integration solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree, Degree Field (s): Computer Science, Information Systems, or Mathematics

• Work Experience: 10+ years

• Supervisory Experience: 4-6 years

• 10+ years of enterprise integrations development experience, including 8+ years of hands-on experience with Boomi and enterprise integration platforms.

• Establish and govern enterprise-wide integration standards, reusable frameworks, and reference architectures to improve scalability, maintainability, and speed of delivery across platforms.

• Partner closely with Digital, Data, AI, Security, Infrastructure, Product, and Enterprise Architecture teams to ensure alignment between business objectives and integrations strategy.

• Strong expertise in iPaaS, middleware, API management, microservices, event-driven architecture, and enterprise integration patterns, with hands-on experience in Boomi AtomSphere including integrations development, connectors, Boomi Flow, and API Management.

• Proven experience architecting and delivering scalable, secure, and resilient integrations solutions across digital, POS, Loyalty, Payments, customer data, and enterprise platforms.

• Deep understanding of integrations security best practices, including OAuth, SSL/TLS, token-based authentication, encryption, secrets management, and secure API integrations.

• Demonstrated experience leading large-scale enterprise integrations initiatives across distributed teams and complex technology ecosystems.

• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop integrations engineering teams while driving engineering excellence, governance standards, and delivery accountability.

• Experience managing global vendors including delivery partners with clear accountability for delivery quality, execution velocity, operational stability, and business outcomes.

• Strong understanding of cloud-native integration architectures leveraging Amazon Web Services services, including API Gateway, AWS Lambda, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, and modern event-driven and serverless integration patterns.

• Strong experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for integrations deployments and operational automation.

• Excellent executive communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to present technical strategy and trade-offs to senior leadership.

• Evaluate emerging technologies, integration tools, and AI-enabled capabilities to continuously improve the enterprise integrations ecosystem and delivery model.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree, Degree Field (s): Computer Science, Information Systems, or Mathematics

• Work Experience: 8-10 years

• Supervisory Experience: 4-6 years

• Hands-on experience with Boomi DataHub (MDM) and Boomi Event Streams for master data management and real-time event-driven integrations.

• Strong proficiency in REST and SOAP APIs, and deep understanding of data formats including XML, JSON, and SQL-based data exchange.

• Solid experience with relational and non-relational databases (SQL/NoSQL) and integration with enterprise data platforms.

• Strong understanding of cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, with focus on integration services and scalable architectures (e.g., API Gateway, Lambda, SQS, SNS, EventBridge).

• Experience with Generative AI (GenAI) systems and agent-based architectures, including AI orchestration, tool-calling workflows, and integration of AI agents with enterprise systems and APIs, along with exposure to AI-enabled integration use cases, data pipelines, and system connectivity supporting analytics, GenAI platforms, and intelligent automation.

• Boomi Professional Architect Certification (Required).

• Boomi API Management Certification (Required).

• Amazon Web Services Certified Solutions Architect – Associate (Required).
