Role Overview

As a Senior Product Designer I on our Enterprise design team, you lead the design direction for key product initiatives, with a focus on our enterprise and franchise partners. You bring together creative expertise, user-centered thinking, and a working knowledge of AI capabilities to deliver elegant, scalable, and accessible experiences. You collaborate cross-functionally to ensure our products align with user needs and business goals, and you actively contribute to evolving our design system, processes, and culture.

You are highly skilled at customer research, navigating ambiguity, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You build strong partnerships across product, engineering, and research, and you know how to use AI thoughtfully: to accelerate your practice, sharpen your output, and ship better experiences for users who depend on them.

Enterprise at Housecall Pro means designing for franchise and multi-location brands, from the parent organization down to the pros in each location. You’ll work in a fast-moving, AI-accelerated development cycle alongside larger engineering squads.

What you do each day:

• Design scalable solutions for enterprise and franchise customers while partnering with domain squads (estimates, scheduling, payments) to align enterprise needs with core product direction
• Translate product strategy into elegant, user-centered design solutions through wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals
• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define problems, explore solutions, and ship high-quality experiences at speed
• Conduct and synthesize user research and usability testing to validate decisions and uncover new insights
• Bring sharp judgment to every AI decision, evaluating where it genuinely adds value for our customers, pushing back when it doesn't, and carrying that perspective into discovery, prioritization, and design
• Design AI-assisted experiences with care, accounting for error states, confidence signals, transparency, and feedback loops, and hold a clear quality bar for every AI interaction we ship
• Drive continuous improvement by refining design processes, tools, and team rituals
• Balance user needs with business goals to prioritize impactful design work
• Present and communicate design decisions clearly to cross-functional partners and leadership
• Foster a culture of collaboration, feedback, and inclusivity within the design team

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in product design, UX/UI design, or a related field
• Strong portfolio demonstrating experience designing complex digital products across platforms
• Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools (i.e. Figma, Claude code, AI prototyping tools)
• Experience working with and evolving design systems at scale
• Deep understanding of user-centered design, accessibility, and interaction design best practices
• Experience collaborating in agile product teams
• Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to improve workflows, streamline execution, or enhance outputs
• Experience designing for enterprise, B2B, or multi-location and franchise products
• Experience collaborating in agile product teams and working in AI-accelerated development cycles with larger engineering squads
• Bachelor’s degree in design, HCI, or a related field, or equivalent work experience

Location Dependent Information

This role is open to candidates and the expected salary range for this role is $128,000 - $145,000 + equity . The specific salary for the successful candidate will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. This role is also eligible to participate in Housecall Pro’s equity plan and the following benefits: health care insurance (medical, dental, vision, disability), employee assistance program, 401(K), flexible time off, paid parental leave, tech reimbursement, and other company benefits.
