Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants for Trauma/Critical Care/General Surgery

Johnson City Medical Center, part of Ballad Health, is seeking Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to join our progressive and growing Trauma/Critical Care/General Surgery team. This is a full-time, hospital-employed role with direct involvement in the care of trauma patients at a Level I Trauma Center.

Position Highlights:

• Full-time, 12-hour night shifts
• No call responsibilities
• Split coverage between Trauma ICU and Trauma floor patients
• Work closely with Trauma/Acute Care surgeons, surgical residents, and advanced practitioners

Clinical Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and manage trauma patients in the Emergency Department, ICU, and on the floor
• Perform bedside procedures
• First assist in the operating room
• Collaborate in multidisciplinary trauma care planning and management

Qualifications:

• NP or PA licensure (or eligible)
• Preferred experience: surgical, critical care, ED, or other surgical specialties
• Strong interest in acute and critical care medicine
