Fleet Technician $1,250+ WEEKLY Join Savard Personnel Group - where your skills are valued! Savard is currently hiring a Fleet Technician for a position in Dallas, TX. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with a company specializing in mobile storage and temporary structures. The ideal candidate will have construction and maintenance experience and be comfortable performing hands-on repairs, equipment maintenance, and mobile office/trailer setup.

Job Duties:

• Perform basic maintenance and repairs on mobile offices/storage units
• Repair flooring, tile, roofs, walls, frames, doors, windows, screens, and other components
• Perform caulking, painting, filter/damper replacement, and trim/skin repairs
• Tag equipment and install/remove company decals and equipment numbers
• Connect mobile offices to power sources
• Check tire pressure and wheel lugs
• Assist with mobile office/trailer setup at customer locations
• Assist CDL A drivers when needed
• Complete work orders and accurately document time and materials used
• Perform equipment modifications according to manufacturer specifications and applicable codes
• Maintain a clean and organized shop, yard, tools, and supplies
• Complete assignments safely, on time, and within budget

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Active, applicable state driver's license
• Construction knowledge and background
• Related maintenance experience preferred
• Basic verbal and written communication skills
• Working knowledge of tools and heavy equipment
• Ability to accurately complete work orders and documentation
• Basic computer/technology skills
• Strong teamwork and customer service skills
• Good time-management and organizational skills
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs.
• Must be willing to travel to customer locations as needed
