Base Pay $20.00 - $23.00 / Hour Employee Type Full Time Non-Exempt Required Degree NONE Manage Others No Description JOB SUMMARY The Custodian role is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly workplace, including offices, common areas, restrooms, and exterior areas. This position also assists with basic building upkeep, and monitoring facility supplies. This role requires self-motivation and the ability to prioritize tasks in a manufacturing environment. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Empty trash and recycling throughout the facility. Clean and restock restrooms. Sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean common areas as needed. Maintain cleanliness around building entrances and exterior areas. Replace HVAC and other facility filters according to schedule. Monitor and restock janitorial, restroom, and general facility supplies. Clean breakrooms and other shared employee areas. Perform basic building maintenance and minor repairs as appropriate. Identify and report maintenance, safety, or facility concerns. Assist with seasonal exterior upkeep and other facility-related tasks as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous maintenance, janitorial, or facility support experience preferred. Basic knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, and general building maintenance preferred. Ability to safely operate basic hand and power tools. Strong organizational and time management skills. Able to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks effectively. Must be dependable, proactive, and willing to assist in a variety of facility-related tasks. Ability to lift, move, and transport materials and equipment as needed. Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. #J-18808-Ljbffr Rhode Island Commerce
