Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions in accordance with facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
• Respond to emergent and critical patient situations with clinical competency and composure

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Iowa or a compact state license
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum 1–2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with high-volume or Level II/III trauma emergency departments
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
• TNCC or CEN certification is a plus
