Job Title: Junior Coordinator - Product Manager II
Length of Assignment: 6 months (through the end of 2026)
Location: Mettawa, IL 60045 (Local candidates only/relocation won’t be considered)
Work Schedule: Hybrid – 3 days a week in-office (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)
Role Summary
The Junior Coordinator - Product Manager II will support the execution of the patient support program through disciplined documentation, organization, and coordination. This role focuses on developing and maintaining high-quality operating documents, SOPs, workflows, and training materials while translating complex cross-functional discussions into clear, actionable written summaries and next steps.
The position sits within Patient Services under the Strategic Operations group, supporting omnichannel strategy and orchestration initiatives. The primary focus is on building and maintaining an orchestration framework that includes strategy, business rules, triggers, operational documentation, and workflow structures to enable a more digital-first engagement model.
Qualifications & Requirements
Mandatory Requirements:
- Pharma or relevant industry experience is required
- 2+ years of experience in documentation-heavy roles (Product Operations, Product Support, Technical Writing, or Process Coordination)
- Strong documentation and written communication skills
- Proven experience in organizing, structuring, simplifying, and maintaining operational documentation
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools: Word, PowerPoint, and OneNote
- Experience supporting documentation coordination, workflow organization, and operational document management
- Ability to work independently with minimal handholding while operating within leadership guidance
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Comfort working in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment with structured execution. Cross-functional collaboration experience
Highly Preferred:
- Experience with Lucidchart for workflow and process mapping.
- Background in Product Management support, Product Specialist, Junior Product Coordinator, or documentation-heavy product operations roles.
- Technical writing or technical editing experience.
- Familiarity with using AI tools as a thought partner for documentation efficiency and workflow acceleration.
- Experience in regulated environments (Pharmaceutical industry is required).
Top Must Haves:
- Ability to translate strategy into structured, executable frameworks and operating models
- Experience designing scalable workflows, templates, and repeatable process systems
- Strong capability to develop clear, actionable business and operational requirements
- Proven ability to create executive-ready artifacts and structured documentation for director and manager-level audiences
- Experience enabling cross-functional execution through workflow design, governance, and coordination
Core Responsibilities
- Create, maintain, and continuously improve SOPs, workflows, and operating documentation
- Develop training materials and change management artifacts
- Document business requirements, track milestones, dependencies, and action items
- Organize, restructure, simplify, and standardize existing operational documentation into a unified orchestration framework
- Ensure all materials are consistent, version-controlled, and designed for reuse across teams
- Support workflow organization, labeling, structuring, and referencing within documentation systems
- Facilitate cross-functional coordination and milestone tracking across multiple stakeholder groups
- Place siloed operational/process content into the new orchestration framework structure
- Simplify complex operational content into clear, actionable, and scalable documentation
