Google Workspace Administrator

We are seeking an experienced Google Workspace Administrator for a long-term contract opportunity in Forsyth, GA. This position will focus on administering and supporting Google Workspace, ChromeOS devices, and enterprise technology systems within a large, structured IT environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Google Admin Console, Chromebook management, user administration, endpoint security, and technical troubleshooting. Experience supporting Google Workspace for Education or educational technology environments is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities Administer and maintain Google Workspace services, including Gmail, Calendar, Groups, Google Sites, and shared resources. Manage Google Admin Console and Chrome Management Console, including user accounts, device policies, security settings, and access permissions. Configure, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot Chromebooks, ChromeOS devices, extensions, and applications. Monitor Google Workspace usage, storage, security, file sharing, system performance, and compliance. Implement and enforce endpoint security policies, content filtering, sign-in restrictions, and device configurations. Manage synchronization tools, monitoring schedules, activity logs, alerts, and reporting. Provide Tier 1–2 technical support for Google Workspace, ChromeOS, and related hardware, software, and connectivity issues. Troubleshoot Wi-Fi connectivity, device performance, application compatibility, and user access issues. Support web-based applications, learning management systems (LMS), and educational technology platforms. Maintain device inventory, technical documentation, troubleshooting procedures, and user support resources. Collaborate with internal IT teams to resolve technical issues and improve system reliability and user experience. Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or a related technical support position. Hands-on experience administering Google Workspace and managing ChromeOS devices. Proficiency with Google Admin Console, Chrome Management Console, and Google Workspace applications. Experience supporting users and administering technology in an enterprise environment. Experience supporting Apple/Mac devices and troubleshooting macOS-related issues. Understanding of network connectivity, Wi-Fi troubleshooting, device management, and endpoint security. Experience supporting web-based applications and learning management systems. Strong troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and customer service skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience administering Google Workspace for Education. Previous IT support or systems administration experience within an educational or public-sector environment. Experience managing Chromebook deployments, device policies, and large-scale endpoint environments.
