Patenet Prosecution Specialist

A growing intellectual property law firm is seeking an experienced Patent Prosecution Specialist to support U.S. and international patent prosecution matters in the life sciences sector. Key Responsibilities Prepare, review, and coordinate U.S. and foreign patent prosecution filings. Prepare and file IDSs, assignments, declarations, powers of attorney, and related documents. Support patent prosecution, maintenance matters, USPTO correspondence, and client reporting. Coordinate with clients, foreign associates, attorneys, and the USPTO. Manage deadlines and maintain accurate electronic matter files. Proactively identify issues and help improve prosecution workflows and legal operations. Requirements Bachelor's degree required; science or legal studies preferred. 2–5+ years of U.S. patent prosecution experience in an IP law firm. Experience with USPTO filings, IDSs, docketing, and patent maintenance. Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal practice management software. Experience with international prosecution and AppColl is a plus.
