Job Details

• Position: Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN)
• Schedule: Rotating Day/Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Start Date: 11/16/2026
• End Date: 03/07/2027
• Experience Requirements: A minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience, preferably in large (500+ bed) teaching facilities and multiple ERs. Prior travel experience in similar facilities is preferred.
• Certifications and Education Requirements: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC). TNCC must be in packet or proof of class prior to start, NIHSS required prior to start.
• Preferred Qualifications: Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN), Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC), MOAB, ProAct, or other de-escalation training such as Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI).
• Additional Information: This assignment involves flexible scheduling, with a minimum of every other weekend and schedule adjustments as required. Bi-weekly orientations are scheduled on Mondays. Candidates must ensure all employment gaps over 90 days are explained and provide complete work history, including bed count, electronic medical records experience, and facility type. Reliable transportation is required, with vehicles equipped with all-season or snow tires during November-April.
