Industrial Maintenance Technician

Job Description

The Industrial Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the continuous operation of general industrial machinery within a small maintenance team. This position involves repair, preventive maintenance, and calibration tasks, with a strong emphasis on safety and electrical systems. The technician will occasionally be required to work on-call or overtime to address urgent issues and maintain productivity.

Responsibilities

Perform equipment repairs to minimize downtime
Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure optimal machine functionality
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical system issues
Calibrate machines to meet operational specifications
Adhere to safety compliance and protocols at all times
Maintain and service electrical systems as needed

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Experience in mechanical maintenance
Electrical troubleshooting skills
Proficiency in welding techniques
Knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures
Understanding and adherence to safety protocols
Strong problem-solving abilities

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years' experience in industrial maintenance
