We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused IT Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will provide day-to-day technical support, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and help maintain the systems that keep our operations running smoothly.

Position Overview

As an IT Support Specialist , you will serve as a primary resource for technical support across the organization. You'll work closely with employees at all levels to diagnose technical issues, resolve system problems, and support the reliable performance of company technology.

Key Responsibilities of an IT Support Specialist:

Technical Support & Troubleshooting

• Provide frontline technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues
• Troubleshoot and resolve computer, system, and application problems
• Respond promptly to support requests and technical incidents
• Escalate complex issues when necessary while ensuring proper follow-up

System & Equipment Management

• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software
• Set up workstations, devices, and user accounts
• Repair or coordinate replacement of malfunctioning equipment
• Ensure systems remain operational and optimized for performance

Security & Technology Support

• Install, update, and maintain antivirus and endpoint security solutions
• Support user access management and security best practices
• Assist with routine system monitoring and maintenance activities
• Help maintain compliance with company technology and security standards

Technology Evaluation & User Assistance

• Test and evaluate new hardware, software, and technology solutions
• Provide training and guidance to end users on technology-related topics
• Document issues, resolutions, and support activities accurately
• Deliver professional and courteous support to employees across all departments

Qualifications of a IT Support Specialist:

• 2+ years of experience supporting computer systems, networks, or IT infrastructure
• Experience with hardware installation, software support, and systems troubleshooting
• A+, Linux+, CCNA, or similar technical certifications preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• High level of attention to detail and organization
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple support requests
• Commitment to providing outstanding customer service
