Working in settings like group homes, crisis centers, and residential programs, you’ll connect with clients, support their goals, and create a safe, positive environment for recovery.A big part of this role is building real relationships, even with clients who may be hesitant or hard to engage—using compassionate, trauma-informed approaches.**Your day-to-day*** Build trust with clients through genuine, respectful interactions* Get to know each person’s goals, strengths, and needs to offer personalized support* Help clients navigate daily life (routines, appointments, relationships, and community activities)* Lead or participate in activities like life skills, recreation, and wellness groups* Support personal care and hygiene when needed* Observe and document client progress and share updates with the care team* Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming living environment* Assist with meals, light housekeeping, and basic program operations* Provide transportation for clients when required* (If certified) safely administer medications### **What we’re looking for*** Strong people skills and the ability to connect with a wide range of individuals* Calm, professional approach in high-stress situations* Interest in mental health, recovery, and helping others grow* High school diploma (or equivalent)* Willingness to complete required certifications (medication aide, food handling, driver’s license if applicable)**Bonus points if you have*** Experience in mental health, caregiving, or community support roles* Knowledge of trauma-informed care or recovery-based approaches* Lived experience with mental health or substance use recovery
