Summary

We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team at Certus Healthcare Management. In this role, you will play a vital part in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for our residents, focusing on enhancing their quality of life through rehabilitation and therapeutic interventions.

This position comes with a starting pay rate of $50 an hour for a PRN, as needed, position. As a PRN employee on our therapy team, you can work with flexible hours and scheduled days based on community need. The community this position will work directly with is Shadyside Healthcare & Rehabilitation located in Shadyside Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to develop personalized occupational therapy plans for residents.
• Implement therapeutic interventions aimed at improving daily living skills and overall functionality.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for each resident.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary based on resident needs.
• Educate residents and their families about therapy goals and techniques for continued improvement.
• Participate in discharge planning to facilitate smooth transitions for residents returning home or to other care settings.

Requirements

Requirements

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Ohio.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and occupational health practices.
• Experience in case management and developing care plans is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
