Internal Medicine Physician

We are seeking an Internal Medicine Physician for a 120-day assignment in Arizona. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with a one-hour unpaid lunch. This role requires a physician dedicated to comprehensive patient care, precise coding and charting, and technological proficiency. Practice Info Setting: Outpatient (Clinic Only) Staffing Mix: Medical Director, 1:1 provider to MA ratio, Nurse Practitioner, front of house staff Responsibilities Provide comprehensive preventative geriatric primary care to a diverse patient panel Manage a wide range of chronic conditions including hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, CHF, CAD, COPD, asthma, CKD, thyroid disorders, osteoarthritis, and chronic pain Address cases related to dementia, cognitive decline, falls, mobility, and osteoporosis Handle acute illnesses and infections, ensuring appropriate treatment Conduct preventive care and annual wellness visits Oversee medication management and provide specialized geriatric care Maintain accurate coding and charting practices Utilize technology effectively in patient care and record-keeping Work collaboratively to minimize hospital admissions for patients Compensation Strong compensation Benefits Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities Shift & Schedule 120-day assignment Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with a one-hour unpaid lunch Patients per day: 10-12 LOA: 120 Days Qualifications Board Certifications: Family Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, Internal Medicine Other Required Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) EMR: eClinicalWorks
