Then we mayhave good news for you as Celestia Antwerp is actively looking for hiring Supply Chain Coordinator The position involves a combination ofpurchasing, warehouse and export management. The Logistics Coordinator will besupporting the different projects for all Supply Chain activities, ranging frompurchase orders, logistics, income inspection, supplier follow-up, warehousing,and export control. Tasks and Responsibilities Purchasing Procure materials and servicesthrough competitive bidding in accordance with company policies activities atthe most advantageous and high-quality manner; Drives cost reductions and lookfor cost savings by negotiating price, terms, and related issues with vendors; Manages order deliveryschedules and suppliers’ performance to ensure on-time delivery to supportinternal production; Obtain and evaluate quotes toprepare accurate cost estimates and determine most desirable suppliers; Function as liaison between CelestiaAntwerp and suppliers; Resolves problems related topurchasing, delivery, receiving, and payment to the supplier, determines sourceof the problem and takes appropriate corrective action; Requests quotes, places orders andactively monitors the delivery times; Communicates and synchronizeswith the different project and department managers; Ensuring the flow of goodsthrough efficient process planning; Monitoring stock levels andensuring timely replenishment; Organizing and maintaining the lab environment, keeping colleaguesinformed about new equipment, ensuring timely calibration of test instrumentsaccording to project planning, and monitoring the safe use of all labequipment. Perform other duties andresponsibilities as assigned or required. Warehousing Coordinating incoming andoutgoing goods flows; Receiving, inspection, andstocking of orders; Shipment and insurance ofdeliveries; Plans, organizes, and managesdaily operations of the warehouse; Manages the stock inventory; Monitor and analyze warehouseperformance to identify areas for improvement; Manages the safety data sheets. Export Application and reporting onexport permits; Qualifications and Experience Experience with Supply Chaintasks; Fluent in English; Multilingualis a plus; Affinity with electronics orequivalent through experience; Motivated, team player, dynamic,sense of ownership and commitment.
