Occupational Therapist (OT)

Role Overview: The Occupational Therapist (OT) provides direct rehabilitation services in occupational therapy within a skilled nursing facility setting. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to improve patient functional abilities. Assess, modify, and evaluate patient progress, coordinating with interdisciplinary teams. Supervise and oversee care provided by OT Assistants, Rehab Aides, and students. Maintain accurate, timely documentation and utilize therapy software effectively. Engage with patients, families, and staff to ensure quality care and positive outcomes. Participate in community health initiatives and uphold safety, sanitation, and confidentiality standards. Qualifications & Skills Current NBCOT certification and state licensure. Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program (BSOT or MSOT). Proficiency in Microsoft Office and communication skills. Ability to make independent decisions, demonstrate good body mechanics, and maintain professionalism. Essential Functions: Follow treatment plans, establish goals, chart appropriately, ensure excellent customer service, and collaborate within an interdisciplinary team.
