We are looking for a dedicated individual to oversee all facility operations to ensure production goals are met safely, efficiently, and on schedule. The role involves managing operations to maximize capacity, reduce downtime, and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures. The primary safety contact for the shift will identify hazards, address incidents, and escalate concerns as needed. Partnering with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Inventory teams is essential to ensure sanitation, food safety, and operational efficiency. Monitoring HACCP and GMP compliance, ensuring accurate documentation, and supporting shipping and receiving activities including BOLs and inspections are also part of the job. Leading, coaching, and developing shift employees, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management, is crucial.

One to two years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment is required, along with a high school diploma or GED, and a four-year degree preferred. Manufacturing experience is required, with food manufacturing experience a plus. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with sound judgment are necessary. The ability to adapt to changing priorities and lead teams in a fast-paced environment is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, with bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred.

Regular standing, walking, reaching, climbing stairs and ladders, bending, stooping, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 pounds are required. Ability to push or pull equipment and perform physical tasks throughout the shift. Required use of personal protective equipment including respirators, hearing protection, eye protection, and head protection. Exposure to wet or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, and cold environments, including refrigerated areas. The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
