Mark Porter-Farmers Insurance Agency in GRAND ISLAND, Nebraska, is looking for a positive, enthusiastic individual to join our outstanding team as a Insurance Customer Service Representative. You will be using your professional demeanor, willingness to learn, and excellent communication skills to service new and existing accounts to achieve agency sales goals and service standards. Whether you have experience in the insurance industry or are looking to start down a new career path, this is the place for you.
No Previous Insurance Experience? No problem!
Responsibilities
Handle all incoming claim calls from customers and follow-up.
Take premium payments from customers.
Verify phone numbers, addresses and email addresses with each customer contact and update customer information.
Answer incoming phone calls on the first ring.
Call prospective customers by operating VOIP telephones, automatic dialing systems, and other internet technologies.
Requirements
- Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful and be coachable.
- Possess an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude.
- Be a great self-starter with a sense of urgency.
- Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up.
- Excellent Communication/interpersonal skills.
