Overview
Radiology Tech – X-Ray travel assignment in Atlanta, GA, US. Start date: 08/17/2026 for six weeks with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Day shift, 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday (7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m.). Work in an acute-care environment with ED, inpatient, and portable radiography responsibilities. This travel role focuses on diagnostic imaging across multiple settings, with opportunities to learn pediatric and neonatal imaging as needed.

Responsibilities
- Perform radiologic and fluoroscopic procedures, including X-ray imaging, portable exams, and operating room fluoroscopy, following department protocols.
- Evaluate images for technical quality, adjust positioning, exposure factors, and technique to ensure diagnostic-quality studies.
- Operate radiologic and fluoroscopic equipment and manage imaging across ED, inpatient, and portable settings; assist with pediatric and neonatal imaging as needed.
- Document procedures in the EMR system (EPIC and Sectra) and communicate findings promptly to radiologists and care teams.
- Float between assigned departments as needed and participate in competency check-offs for students assigned to the site.
- Maintain patient safety and infection control practices, including adherence to mask fit requirements and radiation safety standards; ensure proper shielding and dose optimization.

Requirements
- ARRT certification in Radiography and BLS required
- Graduate of a JRCERT/ARRT approved program
- Minimum 1 year Level 1 trauma experience or 2–3 years at a large trauma-level 2 facility
- Ability to operate radiologic and fluoroscopic equipment; comfortable using EPIC and Sectra EMR
- Willingness to learn pediatric and neonatal imaging; ability to work in ED, inpatient, and portable settings; may float as needed
- ARRT certification active and BLS current
