Responsibilities: Our Dental Hygienists are tasked with providing direct dental care and related services to patients under the general supervision of a dentist, as well as offering general support to the office. Deliver compassionate and high-quality care to every patient. Provide direct patient care, including scaling, prophylaxis, x-rays, sealant and fluoride applications, and other related procedures under the general supervision of a dentist. Ensure excellent customer service by identifying opportunities for Same Day Care. Educate patients and their families on oral hygiene practices. Evaluate patients' dental conditions and needs while reviewing their medical histories. Adhere to all governmental regulations and organizational standards. Guide patients and their families through the entire treatment process. Assist with dental and periodontal charting as needed. Take x-rays and document them in patient charts when necessary. Create memorable experiences for patients by demonstrating compassion and understanding. Qualifications: Current licensure as a Dental Hygienist in good standing. CPR (BLS) certification from the ARC or AHA, including hands-on skill assessment (required upon hire). We prioritize teamwork, mutual respect, and collaboration.
