Systems Engineer - F22 - Sr Stf - Level 5

System Engineer – F-22 IMIS Program Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in Fort Worth, Texas invites a Systems Engineer to support the F-22 Integrated Maintenance Information System (IMIS) program. The candidate will assist workstream/embedded teams in architecture, design, development, integration, production, and sustainment of software, as well as development and analysis of system requirements. The role includes overall systems engineering technical responsibilities and may include oversight of additional workstream teams across the F-22 IMIS program. Responsibilities Perform Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) design. Perform risk assessments. Lead trade studies. Manage interfaces. Perform technical planning. Perform requirements verification and participate in systems architecture development. Apply broad knowledge and expertise in systems engineering. Provide support for systems/subsystem integration and testing, closely working with program management. Basic Qualifications Active Secret Clearance. Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or a related technical discipline from an accredited college. Experience collaborating with internal/external customers. Experience developing and executing technical plans or roadmaps. Experience working in a highly collaborative environment. Experience applying SysML to systems engineering efforts and working with modern SysML tools. Experience developing model-based systems engineering (MBSE) models, including use‑case, activity, and sequence diagrams. Desired Skills Strong communication skills, including customer rapport. Experience in the systems engineering lifecycle, principles, practices, and methodologies. Experience in Agile and DevSecOps. General technical leadership experience. Experience with tools such as Cameo, Kubernetes, Ansible, Linux, AI workflows, Security+, Atlassian (Confluence, Bitbucket, Jira). Additional Experience Experience mentoring or teaching other engineers. Security Clearance This position requires a government security clearance. Applicants must be U.S. Citizens. Clearance level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years. Work Schedule Onsite full‑time at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Schedule: 4×10‑hour days, 3 days off per week.
