If you have a strong understanding of collision repair, enjoy working with customers, and have an eye for detail, we want to talk to you. As a Body Shop Estimator, you will play a critical role in guiding customers through the repair process while ensuring accurate estimates, clear communication, and a great customer experience. What You'll Do * Inspect damaged vehicles and determine the extent of repairs needed. * Prepare accurate and detailed collision repair estimates. * Work with customers to explain recommended repairs, timelines, and the repair process. * Communicate with insurance companies, adjusters, technicians, parts personnel, and other departments. * Document vehicle damage with photographs and detailed notes. * Research repair procedures and ensure estimates follow manufacturer and industry guidelines. * Review estimates with technicians to ensure all necessary repairs are identified. * Supplement estimates when additional damage is discovered during the repair process. * Monitor repair progress and communicate updates to customers and insurance partners. * Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the repair process. * Help ensure repairs are completed safely, correctly, and according to quality standards. * Provide exceptional customer service from the initial estimate through vehicle delivery. * Maintain a professional, organized, and positive work environment. What We're Looking For * Previous automotive collision/body shop experience preferred. * Experience writing collision repair estimates preferred. * Strong understanding of vehicle construction and collision repair processes. * Excellent communication and customer service skills. * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. * Ability to work effectively with technicians, customers, insurance companies, and management. * Ability to manage multiple repair orders and priorities in a fast-paced environment. * Comfortable using computers and estimating software. * A professional attitude and commitment to doing the job right.
