Job Description

Job Summary:
Responsible for performing mammography procedures in a clinical setting, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety. The technologist will operate specialized equipment and maintain compliance with licensing and documentation requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Perform mammography imaging procedures following established protocols.
• Verify patient identities and obtain necessary clinical histories before procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all procedures, certifications, and training.
• Adhere to safety standards and ensure proper operation of imaging equipment.
• Communicate effectively with patients to provide comfort and instructions during exams.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current California RHB License in X-ray & Mammo.
• Possess a CRT(M) Certificate of Completion of Initial Mammo Training.
• Have completed a 40-hour certification in Mammo.
• Demonstrate a minimum of 2 years recent experience in mammography within the last 3 months.
• Maintain CEUS for the last 3 years with at least 200 mammograms performed in the past 24 months.
• Be certified in AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS.
