Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a Level I Trauma facility requiring cardiac, transplant, and craniotomy experience with both scrub and circulate skills.

Details

• Hospital-based Operating Room setting
• Travelers float among services within the main OR as well as between Jefferson Hospital for Neuroscience, Jefferson Methodist Hospital, and Honickman Center
• Required experience includes cardiac, liver transplant, craniotomy, and spinal cases
• Orthopedic fracture experience is a plus
• Day shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Every 3rd weekend required (Saturday and Sunday)
• No on-call requirement
• No holiday coverage requirement
• Epic EMR used

Requirements

• Active PA or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Level I Trauma certification required
• Minimum 2 years of OR specialty experience required
• Proficiency in both scrub and circulate roles required

Additional Information

• 13-week contract
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply with appropriate experience
• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility may be accepted at a different rate
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Copies of certifications required for consideration
