Aircraft De-Icing Technician

Be part of the team that keeps the airport moving! When winter weather hits, you play a critical role in keeping aircraft safe and the airport operating. As an Aircraft De-Icing Technician, you'll receive comprehensive training to operate specialized, state-of-the-art de-icing equipment and help prepare aircraft for safe departure during snow and ice events. No previous de-icing experience is requiredwe'll teach you everything you need to know.

What You'll Do

• Operate specialized aircraft de-icing trucks and equipment after completing company training.
• Safely spray and treat aircraft with de-icing fluid to remove snow, frost, ice, and other frozen precipitation.
• Perform pre-shift equipment inspections and help keep your de-icing truck clean, fueled, and ready for operation.
• Communicate with team members and airport personnel using two-way radios.
• Follow established de-icing procedures, airport regulations, and all safety requirements.
• Work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment where every minute matters.
• Perform additional duties necessary to support safe and efficient winter operations.

What We're Looking For

You don't need aviation or de-icing experience. We're looking for dependable people who are safety-minded, comfortable working outdoors, and ready to step up when winter weather arrives.

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must possess a current, valid U.S. driver's license
• Must successfully complete a 10-year airport security/background check
• Must successfully complete a mandatory drug screen
• Must successfully complete all company-provided training
• Must be comfortable working outdoors in winter weather
• Must be comfortable working at heights of up to 50 feet

Schedule That Works Around You

This is a seasonal, on-call position designed for people who want flexibility and the opportunity to pick up additional hours when winter weather creates demand.

• Typical shifts are 46 hours or longer
• Evening and overnight shifts may be required
• Holiday availability is required during winter operations
• On-call availability is required during active weather events
• Opportunity to work additional hours during snow and ice events
• Flexible scheduling based on operational needs and your availability
