Job Summary:
Operating Room Open Heart Nurse position available in Sarasota, Florida. This role involves providing specialized nursing care for open heart surgery patients, including TAVRs, dissection, and chest/thoracic cases. Candidates must bring their license on the first day and meet the specified experience and certification requirements to be considered for this assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Sarasota, Florida
• Schedule: 10-hour days, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Start Date: 07/27/2026
• Travel Required: Yes
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Required Qualifications: Valid Florida license at time of submission, American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications, at least 2 travel assignments in a 500+ bed facility, minimum of 2 years of operating room open heart experience in such facilities.
• Preferred Qualifications: CNOR certification
• Additional Information: Candidates should have prior large facility trauma experience, EMR experience (Epic, Cerner, Meditech, Allscripts), and independent function skill set suitable for open heart cases.
• Assignment Dates: 07/20/2026 to 11/01/2026
• RTO: 08/28/2026 to 09/07/2026
• Submission Requirements: All time of needs to be presented at time of submission for review.
