About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Intensive Care Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 18 months of experience in a medical intensive care setting is required; 2 years is preferred. License: Current nursing license required. Certifications: BLS, ACLS (must have at the time of application), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start). Must-Have: EPIC experience is required. Candidates must be nicotine-free, with a negative 10 panel drug screen including nicotine. Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse in a medical intensive care unit. The ideal candidate should have at least 18 months of medical intensive care experience. Candidates with 2 years of experience are preferred. First-time travelers will be considered. Floating to other facilities within a 20-mile radius may be required. Applicants must include all requested time off at the time of submission. The facility is smoke-free, and all travelers must comply with this policy. Additional certifications and competencies should include interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, care of the ventilated patient, and arterial line management. Candidates must be aware of time-sensitive modules that need to be prioritized once confirmed for the assignment. Two references from a direct supervisor or manager are required for consideration.
