As our Director of Human Resources, you will be a trusted resource for employees and leaders while helping create a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Partnering with the Administrator and department leaders to support staffing, employee relations, retention, and workplace culture.

• Recruiting, interviewing, and helping select team members who share our commitment to compassionate care and our core values.

• Creating a welcoming and engaging onboarding experience for new employees.

• Helping new team members understand our culture, policies, benefits, expectations, safety practices, and commitment to resident rights.

• Supporting employees and leaders with questions, concerns, coaching, performance management, and workplace issues.

• Promoting an environment where every team member feels respected, included, heard, and valued.

• Maintaining accurate and confidential employee records.

• Coordinating required employee screenings, background checks, and employment documentation.

• Ensuring employment practices are consistent with company policies and applicable federal, state, and local requirements.

• Supporting employee recognition, engagement, retention, and culture-building initiatives.

• Conducting exit interviews and identifying opportunities to improve the employee experience.

• Coordinating required training and annual in-services, including OSHA, HIPAA, compliance, and other mandatory education.

• Partnering with leadership on workforce planning and HR-related budgeting.

• Protecting the confidentiality of employee and resident information.

• Supporting and protecting residents' rights, dignity, privacy, individuality, and right to fair and equitable treatment.

We are looking for someone who combines strong HR knowledge with a genuine passion for people.

Our ideal candidate:

• Has at least 2 years of Human Resources experience , preferably in healthcare, skilled nursing, long-term care, or a similar environment.

• Understands employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.

• Builds strong, trusting relationships with employees and leaders.

• Communicates with compassion, professionalism, and respect.

• Handles sensitive situations with sound judgment and confidentiality.

• Believes that a strong workplace culture directly contributes to better resident care.

• Is organized, dependable, approachable, and solutions-focused.

• Demonstrates our values of Compassion, Hospitality, Integrity, Positivity, and Determination .

• A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
