Emergency Trauma Technician-ER-Fulltime-Variable

Position Summary Performs limited patient care duties under the supervision of staff nurse. Maintains an environment conducive to the patient's well-being. Required Qualifications Current CA EMT Certification with recent ambulance or hospital experience. Current BLS Provider. Preferred Qualifications One year experience in a related emergency medical field or acute hospital setting. 12 lead EKG class. Physical Requirements Position involves standing and walking for long periods of time, approximately 75% of the workday. Must be able to transfer and lift patients as necessary. Weight will vary from patient to patient. Must have the dexterity, coordination, and visual and auditory acuity to perform all job responsibilities. Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Must be free from signs of illness and infections.
