As a Security Officer Access Coordinator in Saint George, UT , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer in a dynamic retail location, helping to monitor entry points, verify access, and support a welcoming environment for visitors and team members. In this role, you will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism and strong communication. Pay Rate: $17.40 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, associates, and vendors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, customer assistance, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points at the location, verify badges, credentials, and/or visitor authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Support retail location operations by screening deliveries, directing foot traffic, maintaining visitor logs, and reporting unusual activity or security-related concerns according to post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around entrances, loading areas, sales floor access points, and the exterior perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
