ROLE OVERVIEW The Commercial Digital, AI & Sustainability Director role reports to the Vice President of Growth. The role serves as a business partner to Commercial, Marketing, Sustainability, Innovation, IT, and Business Unit leaders globally, driving the development and deployment of next-generation commercial capabilities that accelerate growth and improve commercial effectiveness. This role leads the identification, prioritization, governance, and scaling of commercial AI, digital, and sustainability initiatives across the enterprise. The position evaluates opportunities, builds business cases, aligns stakeholders, and drives adoption of capabilities that strengthen customer engagement, improve productivity, enhance decision-making, and create measurable business impact. This leader helps ensure that digital innovation and sustainability are translated from strategic priorities into practical, scalable growth engines for the business. WHAT YOU GET TO DO Lead the enterprise commercial AI and digital innovation strategy, identifying, prioritizing, and scaling capabilities that accelerate growth, improve seller effectiveness, and enhance customer engagement. Develop and maintain a commercial AI roadmap, evaluating use cases, defining business value, governing priorities, and coordinating deployment across commercial functions. Partner with business leaders, IT, and analytics teams to implement AI-enabled tools, workflows, and insights that improve productivity, forecasting, pipeline management, and decision quality. Drive adoption of digital commercial capabilities by establishing governance, success metrics, training approaches, and change management plans that maximize business impact. Identify and evaluate emerging digital trends, technologies, and commercial innovations, translating external developments into practical business opportunities. Lead development of enterprise sustainability monetization strategies, helping translate sustainability capabilities into differentiated customer value propositions and profitable growth opportunities. Partner with Sustainability, Commercial Strategy, Marketing, and Business Units to develop commercialization plans, value narratives, and premium capture opportunities for sustainable products and solutions. Enable customer-facing sustainability engagement by supporting value communication, sustainability scorecards, customer business cases, and sustainability-led selling approaches. Build frameworks to measure, track, and report business impact from AI, digital, and sustainability initiatives, ensuring accountability and return on investment. Collaborate with innovation, analytics, and commercial teams to identify new growth opportunities within emerging markets, focus categories, and evolving customer needs. Support governance and prioritization of commercial capability investments, ensuring resources are directed toward initiatives with the highest strategic and financial impact. Scale successful digital, AI, and sustainability solutions globally through standardized processes, tools, adoption programs, and best-practice sharing.
