About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Chronic Dialysis Duration: 8 weeks Shift: 8, 10, 12-hour Days Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Required Certifications: BLS Certification Must-Have: Recent DCI experience preferred Description: This position requires a strong preference for candidates with recent DCI experience. Candidates must be comfortable taking on floor and charge RN duties. Knowledge of Fresenius T machines and chairside charting is essential. The unit operates Monday through Saturday with two shifts per day. The arrival time for shifts is 5:00 AM. On Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, there are 17 patients per shift. On Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, there are 12 patients per shift. The average census is 56 patients, with 60 being the maximum capacity. Staffing ratios are 12 RNs to 1 patient and 4 PCTs to 1 patient. Services offered include hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis. The schedule details will be provided upon hire. Candidates should be prepared to float to different locations as needed. Availability for 3-4 days per week, including Saturday rotation, is required.
