Shift: 8:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <35 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast and no current placement allowed at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast.

• 12 months gap required between for Part-Time at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast and no current placement allowed at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: 2D, doppler, color flow, 3D, strain, and contrast studies.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Stress echo skills and interventional procedures. IV management training preferred.

Unit Details: Heart failure and cardiac diagnostics, advanced – TTE, TEE, stress echo, and dobutamine stress echo studies. Chemotherapy evaluations. Renal transplant evaluations. Balance between portable and in-lab studies. Uses Philips and GE echo, GE CASE stress lab, and Philips ISCV reporting for echo.

Shift & Scheduling: Monday through Thursday. Weekend rotation dependent on unit needs. Holiday requirements dependent on unit needs. No on-call.

Floating Requirements: Floating to satellite sites managed within the Wake Region; echo tech only.

14 days maximum time off

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

• RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS)) or the alternative certifications RCS, ACS

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
