LPN Or Surgical Scrub Technician

Position: LPN OR SURGICAL SCRUB TECHNICIAN Job ID: 2026-044 Department: Surgery Salary Range $22.95 to $34.07 Non-Exempt Union: AFSCME 105 Benefit Summary: Medical, Dental & Vision coverage options with applicable HSA & FSA. PTO Package; 401 K with company match.

Job Summary: Handles instruments, supplies and equipment during the surgical procedure functions under the direction of the sponsoring physician and within the privileges granted by the governing board. He/she has an understanding of the procedure and anticipates the needs of the surgeon. Is constantly on vigil for maintaining a sterile field. He/she had the necessary knowledge and ability to ensure quality patient care during the operative procedure. Has knowledge of sterilization and disinfection. Cleans and prepare instruments for disinfection and sterilization and terminal cleaning of the operating room according to recommended practices. This position includes duties of central processing, and sterilization of instruments.

Minimum Qualifications: LPN degree in nursing, or associates in surgical technology BLS One year as a scrub nurse, or minimum 2 years nursing.

Preferred Qualifications: Certified Surgical Technologist Certification in surgical technology and/or Central supply/sterilization Associates in surgical technology 1 year experience in Surgical services

Additional Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 30lbs and stand for long periods of time.

Licenses & Certifications: Licensed Practical Nurse
