Caregiver Position

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. As a caregiver, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for those you care for and elevating the human spirit while theyre at home. Your responsibilities will include providing personal care, companionship, and support to individuals with various needs.

Duties

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide medication reminders as prescribed.
• Support clients with mobility and transfers, which may involve using assistive devices.
• Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and cognitive stimulation.
• Monitor, report, and document changes in clients physical and emotional well-being.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by following health and safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals regarding care needs and progress.
• Transport to and from medical appointments, grocery stores, and any other kind of errands that might be needed.

Skills

• Experience in patient care, or home care settings is preferred, but not required.
• Familiarity with working with individuals with disabilities is beneficial.
• Ability to assist clients safely and assist with mobility-related tasks.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and their families.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others are essential qualities for success in this role.
• Flexibility to adapt to varying client needs and schedules is important.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Requirements:

• CPR Certification
• 2 Step TB test
