County Waste has immediate opening for a  PM Tech  to join our GROWING team at our site in  Clifton Park, NY.

Schedule:  Monday - Friday 2pm -12:30am / 50 to 55 hours per week / Saturday's as needed.

Pay Rate: $25.00 to $27.00 per hour (Dependent on experience)

As a key member of our automotive maintenance technicians team, your work as a PM Tech will focus on the PMCS of equipment used by our company in the transportation and handling of vehicles. This will involve, inspecting tires, break jobs, lube jobs, minor electrical and hydraulic repairs.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Providing preventative maintenance check services
• Training with senior techs to further skill set
• Completing required paperwork utilizing fleet maintenance software program associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times
• Completing, or assigning minor repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports
• Advise supervisor on larger repairs
• Conducting safety checks on vehicles and equipment
• Performing service calls for emergency breakdowns
• Maintaining a clean, safe work environment in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards

What we need from you:

• Valid Driver's License
• Schedule flexibility to work 2nd shift Monday-Friday and occasional Saturdays
• Ability to adapt to a wide variety of environments to complete work assignments
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Welding/fabrication experience,  a major plus
