Chesapeake Regional Rx (CPRX) is a pharmacist-founded, closed-door long-term care pharmacy in Wilmington, DE, serving skilled nursing, assisted living, and residential care facilities across New Castle County, Newark, Wilmington, Dover, and the surrounding region

What you'll do

Order Fulfillment & Dispensing

• Prepackage and label medications for dispensing under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist
• Operate automated packaging and dispensing equipment
• Stage filled prescriptions for pharmacist final check, and package medications after final review
• Receive and verify written prescriptions and refill requests for completeness and accuracy
• Mix pharmaceutical preparations according to written prescriptions

Data Entry

• Enter new and refill prescription orders accurately into the pharmacy system
• Enter and update resident, facility, and prescriber information
• Maintain accurate records of dispensed medications, inventory counts, and vaccine/testing activity
• Catch and flag entry discrepancies before they reach the pharmacist for final check

Vaccine & Immunization Reporting

• Enter and submit vaccine administration data to the required state reporting systems in a timely, accurate manner
• Track and reconcile vaccine billing - verify doses administered match doses billed
• Maintain point-of-care testing records and inventory data
• Support the pharmacist with vaccine inventory counts and expiration tracking

Delivery & Logistics

• Coordinate and stage medication orders for accurate, on-time delivery to facilities

Inventory & Compliance

• Maintain proper storage and security conditions for all medications
• Receive and stock incoming supplies; verify quantities against invoices
• Check current inventory for outdated medications and flag stock needs/shortages to your supervisor
• Review resident consent forms for completeness

Front Office & Billing Support

• Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
• Make outbound calls on outstanding account balances
• Generate and distribute billing statements

What you bring

• High school diploma or GED
• Pharmacy experience preferred, especially long-term care
• Comfortable with detailed, accurate data entry - this role has a real reporting/billing component
• Comfortable talking to people - this role has real customer/facility contact
• Working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through - this work has zero room for error
• Able to work independently once trained, and to ask for help when something's unclear
• A team-first attitude - we're a small crew and we cover for each other
