Please note that eligibility and waiting periods may apply.Position Summary:As a Packaging Operator, you will play a vital role in our organization by supporting the Packaging team in packaging and storing bagged and tote products. Your responsibilities will include ensuring timely, accurate, and complete documentation and maintaining compliance with GMPs, Sanitation requirements, and performance measures.Essential Functions, Duties and Performance Responsibilities:In this pivotal role, you will:Read, interpret, and maintain Packaging Log SheetsConduct daily audits of CCP charts Metal DetectionFile all charts, log sheets, and production documents with precisionMaintain Metal Detector charts and Metal Detector Log SheetsTrack and record Animal Feed weights by productDemonstrate strong work ethics and foster a culture of teamworkAdhere to all plant, OSHA, and Safety RegulationsTransfer finished product from the palletizing room to the WarehouseScan packaged products into the inventory management systemInspect all product packaging for defectsPerform any other projects as assignedPosition Specifications/Qualifications:We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:Education:High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work-related experienceExperience:Forklift experience is preferredPackaging experience is preferredMilk processing plant experience is a plusSkills and Knowledge:Able to work in teams effectively and encourage a positive work environmentWillingness to learn new concepts and embrace changeStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProven track record of ensuring timely, accurate, and complete documentationAbility to complete pre-operational checks on all equipmentReliable work ethic and a sense of responsibilityStrong interpersonal, decision-making, critical thinking, and time management skillsAttention to detail and adaptability to changing prioritiesGood interpersonal skillsFamiliarity with production lines and equipment is preferredPhysical Requirements:Excessive ascending and descending of ladders and stairs using feet and legs and hands and arms regularly.
