Locums Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician in Joplin, Missouri - Call Only, Flexible Coverage

Provide supplemental cardiothoracic surgery coverage through 24-hour call shifts with multiple physicians able to share the monthly schedule.

Practice & Cases

• Adult cardiothoracic surgery across inpatient and outpatient settings
• General cardiovascular and thoracic surgery, CABG, and valve procedures
• Preferred scope includes TAVR, vascular surgery, bronchoscopy, and device management
• Admissions and procedural care as needed

Schedule

• 24-hour beeper call shifts
• 20-minute response requirement
• Approximately 20 call shifts available per month
• Multiple physicians can divide available coverage

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Board Certified in Thoracic Cardiovascular Surgery
• Active Missouri medical license required
• ACLS, ATLS, and BLS required

Logistics

• Airfare and lodging provided
• Rental car and mileage provided
