Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM 4:00 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch)

Hours/week: 40 hours

Employment Type: Temporary/Contract

License/Certs: MD/DO required; BC in Radiation Oncology; BLS certifications

Experience: Minimum 1 year in radiation oncology

What You'll Do

• Provide expert radiation oncology care, including new patient consults and follow-ups
• Review imaging, assess toxicity, and manage supportive care
• Perform procedures such as CT simulation, 3D conformal planning, IMRT, VMAT, IGRT, and stereotactic treatments
• Collaborate with radiation therapists, medical physicists, oncology RN, and dosimetrists
• Support a diverse adult and geriatric patient population in a hospital setting
• Document patient care accurately in EPIC with the Aria platform

What You Need

• MD or DO with BC in Radiation Oncology
• BLS certification
• Active license (will consider IMLC) and DEA registration
• 1+ years of radiation oncology experience
• Ability to start and complete credentialing within 60 days

• Experience with CT simulation, 3D conformal, IMRT, VMAT, IGRT, SRS, SBRT, radiosurgical contouring

About the Assignment This hospital-based department provides comprehensive radiation oncology services including advanced procedures like radiosurgical contouring, adaptive replanning, and treatment of tumor bleed, brain metastases, SVC syndrome, and more. The team supports a wide patient demographic with a focus on adult and geriatric care, utilizing modern treatment modalities in a collaborative environment.
