We are looking for a Server Assistant / Busperson to join our professional team and help deliver exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Job Location The Darcy Hotel 1515 Rhode Island Avenue NW Washington, DC 20005 Position Summary Support the Restaurant Supervisor/Manager and Restaurant Servers in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming dining environment while providing attentive and exceptional guest service. Key Responsibilities Quickly clear used table settings and prepare tables for resetting. Promptly and consistently reset tables with the appropriate serviceware. Keep service stations clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies, including silverware, linens, and condiments, for all meal periods. Serve beverages, bread, and butter, and replenish items as needed throughout the dining experience. Transport used tableware from the dining room to the dishwashing area for cleaning. Follow attendance policies and maintain regular, reliable attendance. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Experience, Skills, and Qualifications Knowledge of proper table settings and serviceware. Ability to grasp, lift, carry, or otherwise transport items weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to move or push goods weighing up to 150 pounds using a handcart or hand truck, with or without reasonable accommodation. TIPS certification. ServSafe certification. Ability to communicate in English.
