Description

• Deliver one-on-one therapy interventions that encompass communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing support.
• Engage collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, doctors, and family members to develop comprehensive care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families to continue progress beyond therapy sessions.
• Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions, ensuring seamless transitions in patient care.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation that aligns with state and national regulations.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is pending.

Certifications

• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within the first 30 days of employment.
