Family Practice/Primary Care Nurse Practitioner

Primary Care NP Wyoming Schedule Schedule: Part time. 2 days per week on Monday through Thursday between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM Daily volume: 1 to 8 claimants per day Openings: 1 Position Overview Provide one time compensation and pension disability examinations for a veteran population. This is an exam only role with no ongoing treatment and no prescribing. Responsibilities Review medical history and complete appropriate disability benefits questionnaires and medical opinions Conduct comprehensive medical disability examinations and document findings in the required system Comfortable performing sensitive exams for male and female veterans, including PAPs and pelvic exams Complete and submit documentation within 24 to 48 hours after the exam Required Qualifications Nurse Practitioner Current, unrestricted license NPI required Strong computer skills and ability to complete web based exam forms Local or commutable candidate preferred Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify.
