What You Bring To The Team 5–10+ years of leadership experience delivering results. Experience managing a store or large department—retail preferred but not required. Internal growth—promotion from assistant or co‑manager roles is a big plus. Comfort leading in fast‑paced, high‑volume, or high‑complexity store environments. Minimum 3 years of management experience preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multi‑task. Creative thinking. Ability to maintain composure under pressure. Essential Job Functions Frequently operate computer and printer, and occasionally operate cash register. Occasionally ascend/descend ladders to retrieve and put away stock. Frequently position self to kneel, bend, twist, and stoop, including in the stock room and on the sales floor. Identify and discern email and print instructions regarding merchandise layouts, associate schedules, and standard operating procedures. Communicate and exchange information with customers on the telephone and face-to-face, and with managers and coworkers. Move across the sales floor directing associates and assisting customers, as well as to and from the stockroom retrieving and putting away merchandise. Work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Lift, push, or pull up to 25lbs and move merchandise up to a height of 5–10 feet. Operate equipment such as ladders, pallet jacks, and handheld devices. Remain in a stationary, upright position for 80% of the time.
