Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, encompassing physical examinations and comprehensive reviews of medical histories
• Assist in the assessment and diagnosis of surgical conditions through analysis of imaging studies and laboratory results
• Work hand-in-hand with surgeons to develop and implement personalized surgical treatment plans
• Provide valuable intraoperative assistance, encompassing room preparation, ensuring proper patient positioning, and instrument hand-offs during procedures
• Offer outstanding pre- and post-operative care, which includes medication administration, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations focused on surgical practices is highly preferred

Certifications

• Current and unencumbered PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
