Traffic Control Flagger

Role Overview As a Traffic Safety Protector, you will work with a team at various job sites to ensure traffic control and safety. No prior experience or degree is required, as comprehensive training and support are provided. Your main duties include setting up cones, signs, and barricades, using stop/slow paddles to guide traffic, and maintaining a safe work environment. You will communicate effectively with your crew and supervisor, help keep equipment and vehicles clean and safe, and work outdoors in all weather conditions. Flexibility in scheduling is essential, as shifts may include nights, weekends, or emergency work. You must be able to stand or walk for extended periods and lift 40-50 pounds. Safety gear such as helmets, goggles, vests, and cold/hot weather clothing will be provided; steel toe safety boots are required. Qualifications & Skills Valid driver's license Ability to stand, walk, and work outdoors for long periods Willingness to work in traffic and changing weather conditions Flexible schedule and punctuality Ability to pass pre-employment screening, including drug tests Alertness around moving traffic and adherence to safety rulesRespectful attitude towards coworkers, clients, and the public Key Duties & Benefits The role offers hourly pay with overtime opportunities, pay raises within the first year, and paid training including a traffic safety certificate.
