Nonprofit Leadership InternshipThis part‑time, 12‑hour per week, 12‑week unpaid remote internship provides insight into the key skills required to lead and develop a nonprofit organization. College credit is available.ResponsibilitiesMeet with government members in your district or constituency; represent the organization at business, political, and community events; mobilize individuals to contact legislators in support of key poverty‑reduction legislation.Learn fundraising techniques; create a personal fundraising campaign and meet targets.Assist with recruitment: update job postings, inform groups and classes of openings, introduce recruitment platforms, and listen in on interviews.Develop marketing and promotion: pitch story ideas to print, broadcast, and digital media; utilize social media and develop web‑based messaging strategies.Experience and RequirementsNo prior experience necessary.
