About the job Role Description The Associate will be responsible for performing legal research, drafting legal documents, attending court hearings, preparing case files, and advising clients. Day-to-day tasks also include conducting depositions, negotiating settlements, and collaborating with senior attorneys on complex cases. The role may also involve representing clients in various legal proceedings. Qualifications
- Legal research and analytical skills
- Experience in drafting legal documents and court filings
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Client advisory and case management skills
- Negotiation and courtroom experience
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Membership in good standing with the New Jersey State Bar
- Prior experience in a law firm setting is a plus
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
