Job Description

We are seeking a Customer Service professional to provide unbiased assistance to Medicaid providers and clients regarding eligibility, medical claims status, and other program-related questions. The ideal candidate will have recent high-volume inbound contact center experience, strong customer service skills, and the ability to effectively multitask.

Required Skills

• Six months of high-volume inbound contact center experience within the last 12 months.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to respond to phone inquiries in a prompt, courteous, and concise manner.
• Ability to effectively document customer encounters in clear and concise online logs.
• Ability to meet individual performance standards and maintain strict attendance and performance metrics.

Preferred Skills

• Client Office experience.
• Effective multitasking skills.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide unbiased assistance to Medicaid providers and clients with questions regarding eligibility, medical claims status, and other program questions.
• Assist with problem resolution as needed.
• Respond to phone inquiries in a prompt, courteous, and concise manner.
• Document all encounters in clear and concise online logs.
• Transfer callers to other Call Center units as needed.
• Meet individual performance standards.
• Maintain strict required attendance and performance metrics.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Must be available for any 8-hour shift between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM .
• Schedule change requests cannot be accommodated during the first 90 days.
